"TWT Group Inc. Rep. Ofc. (RIOT Staffing)”

    On April 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM, we visited TWT Group Inc. Representative Office (Riot Staffing), located at D’Block Center, Rizal Highway, Central Business District, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, 2222. The activity was supervised by Mr. Leonardo, the IT Supervisor. The objective of the visit was to gain industry exposure by observing the company's IT environment, understanding their workflows, and learning how day-to-day operations are handled in a professional IT setting.   

    The activity helped me recall what I learned about Windows Server during our third year in Sir Melner’s class, where we used Windows Server 2019. Watching Windows Server 2022 in use gave me a chance to review the basic steps in setting up a server. Mr. Leonardo used Hyper-V instead of VirtualBox, which we used before, but I noticed that both tools work similarly for basic virtualization. They both let you create, set up, and manage virtual machines without much difference.

    This experience gave me useful ideas that I can use in school and future work. And the tips and knowledge shared by Mr. Leonardo can be useful when setting up virtual environments for work or personal practice. Learning how to plan server specs, install and set up Windows Server, and use tools like Hyper-V or VirtualBox will help us build stable server and network setups, which is good preparation for future IT jobs.   

    Mr. Leonardo explained Hyper-V in a clear and easy-to-understand way. His presentation was well-organized, and he communicated the information effectively, making it easier for us to follow and learn. The way he presented the topics helped us stay engaged and understand the technical concepts better.   

    Interactive sessions, like a live demo of a system or project management tool, would make the experience even more practical and engaging. During the visit, we were also free to ask questions about anything related to IT and our future careers, including the skills we want to develop and the areas we’re most interested in.
